HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM THE KNIGHT LIFE!!

December 24th, 2010 | by keef
Posted In: Blog

Wanna wish all you readers out there a safe and happy holiday season.  It’s been a rough year for a lot of folks–I hope my comics provide a little humor and levity.

I’ll be spending the holiday in Los Angeles, where the water level has dropped and the sun is out again.  I hope to get a few comics done whilst everyone else is having a good time.

I’ve posted my annual Holiday Wish List on my other site.  Feel free to throw a cheap Bay Area apartment or house my way..I know how loaded the lot of you are.

Cheers!

EMAIL TIMESCOMICS@SEATTLETIMES.COM

December 7th, 2010 | by keef

The Seattle Times has dropped the Knight Life!! There is a small chance of bringing it back if you email timescomics@seattletimes.com and voice your displeasure!!

Ironically, I was on my way to the Times to give the editor a fruit basket for adding the Knight Life to the paper.  Instead, it turned into an impromptu protest!  I was joined by one other reader who was unemployed.

I could go on a rant about comic surveys and stuff, but it’s futile.  I did talk to a few of the newspaper staff coming in and out of the building.  I asked them to imagine if they did a reader survey about the columns, writers, photographers, etc.  Imagine what a generic mess it would be if you catered  to a reader survey for everything.

KEEF HOLIDAY KOMMISSIONS/2011 CALENDAR

December 1st, 2010 | by keef
Posted In: Blog

It’s that time of year again!! Time for the Keith Knight Holla-day Kommissions! This is where you tell me what to draw (within reason) on a 9×12 piece of bristol, and I charge you the shockingly low price of $125!!  Ever wonder what you, your family or friends would look like if they appeared in the K Chronicles or the Knight Life?  Wanna see my take on a favorite superhero of yours?  Wanna see Gunther with huge boobs?  Here’s your chance!!

How to do it:   1. Email me at keef@kchronicles.com with your proposal  2. Drop the $$$ in my tip-cup at K Chronicles.com after hearing from me.  3. Sit by your mailbox in anxious anticipation!!

This is THE PERFECT GIFT for that comic strip loving fool you know.

Get your orders in quick.  I need them by Dec. 15th to guarantee them by Xmas.

HEY–WHERE ARE THE 2011 CALENDARS?

They’re coming!  I swear!  We hope to finish them this week.  Our computer died earlier this year, and we lost the program that created the previous calendars.  I’ll send out an email as soon as they’re done.

Had to post this..a GREAT PSA from South Africa:

Baby, Baby, PLEASE!!

November 20th, 2010 | by keef

Nice to get some positive feedback re: the birth of our baby boy.  I’ve been procrastinating getting to it.

Don’t expect too much to change.  My intention is to keep the Knight Life from becoming a baby strip.

The Knight Life made comic strip of the day (scroll down to 11/18/10)! http://www.comicstripoftheday.com/

Nice review of the Knight Life collection: http://www.pixieperspective.com/home/tag/the-knight-life

And now, an important Public Service Announcement:
