One of the finest cartoonists in the biz, the great Richard Thompson, has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.  He’s put together a great collection of cartoonists to raise money for the  Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.  I just finished my piece! Go here and find out more about it and what you can do.

*PRINCE: 21 SHOWS!!

Oh, man!  If there’s one thing to be grateful about living in Los Angeles at the moment is the 21 night stand that Prince is doing right now.  With special guests like Stevie Wonder, Janelle Monae and Sheila E. sharing the stage with the Purple One, just hearing about these shows puts a smile on my face.

I might just sneak out and see one!!

*NBA/NHL PLAYOFFS!! (Not necessarily in that order!)

This is my favorite time of the year sports-wise, because the NHL playoffs are always crazy, the NBA playoffs always come through, and the Red Sox are just startin’ to come around.

Even though the (too old) Celts got knocked out, I found joy in seeing the Lakers implode.

And both the Bruins and Sharks are hometown teams to me..Would love to see them both rise.

But–you gotta be excited at the possibility of (Oklahoma City) Thunder and (Tampa Bay) Lightening championships!!
