The Seattle Times has dropped the Knight Life!! There is a small chance of bringing it back if you email timescomics@seattletimes.com and voice your displeasure!!
Ironically, I was on my way to the Times to give the editor a fruit basket for adding the Knight Life to the paper. Instead, it turned into an impromptu protest! I was joined by one other reader who was unemployed.
I could go on a rant about comic surveys and stuff, but it’s futile. I did talk to a few of the newspaper staff coming in and out of the building. I asked them to imagine if they did a reader survey about the columns, writers, photographers, etc. Imagine what a generic mess it would be if you catered to a reader survey for everything.

Oh that’s horrible! I’m so disappointed in the Seattle Times. I wrote them before to say how much I enjoyed seeing your strip in the paper, I’m writing to them again saying how mad I am now and I’ll be canceling my subscription.
Thanks Aila..
And everyone–please keep it up! They expect the first coupla weeks to be bad..But a month from now, I want them to be hearing it!!
I sent mine it, too.
Hey, Keith.
I hope you don’t mind- I featured you on my blog for my “Sunday Superstar” post. I absolutely love your strip, and I like that the baby is in it now. I read you everyday! Come check out my blog!

Thanks, Abbey! You’re a rock star!!
I DEFINITELY sent an email, and I’ll send more if I have to. Your strip was the main reason I was reading Seattle Times!!!!
I emailed the Seattle Times with a big thumbs up a couple weeks after they started running your strip–could NOT believe they stopped running it–it is a perfect fit for Seattle, despite the usually mediocre Times choices. Just emailed them again with an entreaty to bring it back! Ironically, just at the point when your strip was covering having a baby in an actually entertaining way (rare), they replaced it with some boring baby comic. Feh! Love, love, love your work and hope to have it back.
Takla, Joyce…
Thanks for the support! I’m glad you made the point about the baby comic coming in just as our kid is being introduced. It ain’t right!!
I emailed them again today with a simple request, which I have copied for you. I encourage others to do the same thing.
To Whom it may concern,
All I want for Christmas, is for the Seattle Times to bring back The Knight Life to the comic pages.
Sincerely,
Me
Thatababy:
Thatababy: so babies throw food, etc. So what. Boring.
Tundra: real barnyard humor. Something a bit more witty and challenging please.
Please get rid of Reply All….it is dumb beyond belief. Bring back The Family Tree and Jump Start. thanks.
I already sent my two cents to them.
Please bring back The Knight Life. Love that one. Drop Reply All. It’s really not doing it for me….(yawn)
Thanks!
Re: Edison Lee (“guest comic”) NOT what we need in the “comics” section! A political cartoon – read that “lampoon”! And I am not a Romney “fan” – but this is disgraceful and demeaning!
