This reminds me of the time when Gov. Christie Whitman (later named EPA Sec’y. in the Bush Admin) decided to name a rest stop at the southernmost tip of the NJ Turnpike after Howard Stern. I think they finally stopped trying to replace the plaque on the wall that kept getting stolen.
