The Knight Life: Masked Maggot 4

If you’ve been following the Knight Life since the beginning, you know I was a Michael Jackson impersonator in high school. The sad news of the King of Pop’s passing hit me especially hard. Yeah, the guy was weird, but I don’t believe he was a kiddie molester, cuz a lot more people would’ve stepped up and said something about it (like they did with all those church molestations) if it was the truth.
I think he was a naive, child-like person who was trying to cling to the innocence of childhood.
Anyhoo..Here are some of my Michael Jackson strips (via my two other comic strips).
Cheers!

P.S. Ain’t his father a mean-lookin’ S.O.B.?
Thanks to the Wifey for updating the website. We hope to add more features in the future, including forums, sketchbook pages and more. Let me know if there’s anything you’d like to see added to the website and we’ll get on it.
Cheers!

I’m talking specifically comic strips, not comic books. The ones you see in newspapers , magazines and the web. Just wondering because I did a K Chronicles strip about how to improve the National Cartoonist Society’s annual convention and one of the suggestions was to open it up to the public. I’m gonna be joining the NCS (if they’ll have me), and I want to bring some ideas with me.
What would an ideal cartoonist/comic strip convention look like?
..What your favorite strips and/or story lines have been in this first year of the Knight Life.
I’m interested in what’s been connecting with the readers since I’m new at this daily comic thing.
I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!!
*EXTRA!! EXTRA!! KEEF WILL BE FEATURED ON “THE STORY”...
Nice!! One of my favorite shows on American Public Media will be doing an interview with me tomorrow, Wednesday, at 11am. I’ll be talking about my career..launching a daily strip and having a kid at the same time…and the downturn of the newspaper industry. Not sure if it will be airing tomorrow night or what. Probably not. Once I find out, I’ll post it.
*FIRST ANNIVERSARY OF THE KNIGHT LIFE!!
Who’d a thunk I’d make it this far drawin’ at least 9 comics a week? Anyhoo, thanks to everyone who has been following the strip and giving me suggestions as to what paper to try ‘n’ get in next. It’s been fun, and if I’d known I’d be able to pull this off, I would’ve done it ten years ago. And I’d be rich I tell ya…RICH!!
What can you do to help take the strip worldwide? Keep on sending in suggestions of newspapers. And write to them asking that they add the Knight Life. Pound the message boards with links to this site. And turn all yer friends onto the strip. And buy the first collection when it comes out later this year (more details to come!!).
*NATIONAL CARTOONISTS SOCIETY..
is in Los Angeles this weekend for their annual convention. That means every big time newspaper cartoonist will be here. I’m not a member, but I hope to crash the cocktail party like I did in San Francisco a few years back.
I’ll also be having a conversation with most excellent editorial and Zits cartoonist Jim Borgman, for the 300th issue of the Comics Journal.
Things are-a-brewin’…
